New! Optional daily towel service
By choosing this option, campers will receive two towels per day, one for Instructional and one for Recreational Swim Periods. (Campers in All-Stars and Raptors will receive one towel for their one daily swim). Towel Service can be ordered for $44.25 + HST per child, per two-week session at the time of registration until April 1st, 2024. After April 1st, 2024 the price for towel service will increase.
Hot lunch program
Through Kids Kitchen, parents can easily order Hot Lunches and Snacks directly online. Weekly or daily options are available. Order as much or as little as you like. Entrees cost between $5.75 and $7.50, while snacks and drinks cost between $1.50 and $2.00. You can choose from a wide variety of hot and cold items including macaroni and cheese, chicken fingers and rice, pasta and so much more! Vegetarian, Kosher Style and gluten free options are available. Online orders must be entered by 10:00 a.m. the previous business day.
Green acres optional illness insurance
$15/WEEK PER CHILD
At the time of enrolment, parents may choose to sign up for the Green Acres Optional Illness Insurance which covers against the possibility that a camper may have an extended absence or need to withdraw from Camp as a result of illness or injury (proof of illness may be required). If your child misses more than two consecutive days of camp, a refund will be issued for the third consecutive missed day and onwards, not including the first two days (ex. Your child misses Monday to Friday, you will only receive a refund for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).
If coverage is desired, just add the Green Acres Illness Insurance to your camp fees at registration – this cannot be added once your Application for Enrolment has been confirmed.
One-on-one counsellors – “leisure buddies” (limited availability)
Our Leisure Buddy program is for campers who may be struggling in a new environment, find it challenging to follow group instructions or has certain exceptionalities. With the help of a Leisure Buddy, campers are able to successfully remain part of their cabin group at Camp. Under the supervision of the Camper Relations Team, the camper and their Leisure Buddy will follow the cabin schedule to the best of their abilities. Where changes need to be made in order for their experience to be more successful, the Camper Relations Team will work with the child and their leisure buddy to devise a tailored schedule. Parents can expect regular communication from the Leisure Buddy and the Camper Relations Team to have a better understanding of their child’s progress and experience at Green Acres.
A leisure buddy can be provided independently by the parent or hired by the camp for an additional $325/week if booked prior to May 1st, 2024 .

Customized name labels
Green Acres offers custom stick-on labels that are durable and dishwasher/washing machine safe. The best way to ensure that misplaced items aren’t lost forever is to label every item brought to camp (clothes, goggles, water bottels, etc.) with first and last names. $18.00 + HST for a sheet of 52 labels.
